Supra won't start

I have a supra that drove about 60 miles then bogged out and quit

There was no pressure at the fuel rail, and the pump seemed to be working so I replaced both fuel filters

It started up after replacing the filters, drove it about .25 miles then back to my house and as I was driving up the driveway (steep hill) the car died.

Now I have no pressure at the fuel rail again, but the pump is making noises

one hint is that when I tried to start the car after the stall out the temp gauge went above H to the max the gauge can possibly go, If I pull the EFI switch the gauge acts normally

what else can I check? It is a fuel issue, but definitely not the fuel filters, any ideas? cranks strong...

check your afm.

tubros have a air flow meter n/a's have a mass air flow sensor.

the afm is what controls the fuel pump once its started so that would be your trouble area since your not getting fuel.

Is your poopra a GE or GTE, and wha year.

Do you have fuel in your tank?

And 51 is related to the TPS also..

gte 87 completely stock, missing HAC... just ordered one

have fuel in tank (not much though, drained most to drop it)

Will take an ohm meter to TPS and some threads recommended shaking the CPS
