Never saw a Safe CAT, (pitbull voice) lol.
I'd worry about emissions when I go GREEN . The choice is his , im simply offering speed advice because it is useful... Actualy I love the fact he's still on his 7m...un like some. Its not easy being me.

Great run guys. That 1jz has a lot left. On stock twins i used to run 14.3. The 60-1 is a fail turbo on a 1jz IMHO. That 7M was runing way better (tune wise) then the 1jz, I could hear it from the lack of response.

IMO there should not be any CATs in the exhaust system. I've seen too many turbos destroyed due to back pressure.

Yeah his cars setup could definitely run faster.

I need to maft pro before I aftempt to get more boost out of the 60-1. Already to lean on 10lbs for some reason.

I put on the cat so i can pass emissions its my daily driver i will have a test pipe made ASAP.

actually i found my issue for the horrible lag... i have 2 bad exhaust leaks pre turbo. 1 at the wastegate, (currently looking for a real tial mvr44 to fix that) and the other at where the turbo meets the manifold. i think i just need a thicker gasket there (have a piece of shit thin metal one.)

if i can get the exhaust sealed up it should spool alot faster and the car should feel like a brand new car.

Hmm could be your issue. Although where the turbo meets the manifold the exhaust leak would be quite Audible i would assume.

its there you can feel it and see it. this could be the reason why my 1jz sounds valvie.... tho i hear 1jz's are pretty noise in the valve section :dunno:

So i've had some problems with my AFR's and AFM i'm pretty sure some of it is due to me having a N/A Air filter Adapter.

So i decided to take off the adapter and go for a short drive down the street took some video sorry in advance about the quality lol. I need a stand or go pro or something

Noticed a couple of things.

The car felt a lot faster (boost still at 10psi) and was running smoother AFR's while driving (14.5-15.7)

Now idle on the other was crazy all of the sudden car was not wanting to stay on at idle it wasn't to terrible but my AFR's were everywhere at idle spiking from 12 to 18 at times.

^^^ LMAO^^^ didn't you know each sticker is 10hp, plus that cowl has to add atleast 100hp. That dude added like a 1000hp right there.

So last night I got pulled over for driving with a temp plate at night....

Turns out that my license is suspended and my car got impounded

I will not be getting the car out. If anyone wants it they can have it as is for the price of the impound fees. Should be around $800
