OK... It looks like we should easily make the $9.99 rate - as long as everyone that spoke up here actually follows through and places their order.

What I will do is start the form at the $11.99 price and take orders. If we reach enough sales to drop the price I will issue refunds to those people that placed their orders at the higher price. Refunds will be issued when I ship out the keychains.

So... if John orders a keychain at the $11.99 price and then we drop the price to $9.99 I will send along the $2 refund along with the keychain automatically (you will not need to request the refund).

I am waiting on a concept image from the shop and will post that up as soon as I am happy with the look.

I will make a SnailMail ordering option for those that don't use PayPal.

I am working on having Red/Black/Blue colors available.

Hope to have the concept up in the next few days.

IMO the pay then refund method is going to turn some people away. Especially considering you didnt factor in shipping yet, Then theres the paypal fee. Money is going to be lost between transfers back and forth. Why dont you set up a signup/Poll for people 100% sure so we can get to the $9.99 platform quickly. and pick yourself up a few extra and sell them for $12+ Shipping after the "Pre-Sale" Just a suggestion

Still working on the best plan. But with recent examples of 20 people say yes but then only 10 people cough up the dough I feel safer with my original plan.

You are correct that there will be some money lost in doing PayPal refunds but I figured it out and it is only $0.05. I think that is an acceptable cost. It is actually cheaper to do refunds than only get enough orders to have the price set at $10.99 and have to go back and ask everyone to give me another $1. Remember it is 2.9% + .30 per transaction so asking everyone for the extra $1 would actually cost me $0.33.

Also, this way I can place the order as soon as we hit the minimum order - and not have to wait for the full minimum I mentioned earlier.

I am already ordering extras and eating the costs so there will be a few extras. I would just rather that overage be limited and not suck every available penny out of my acct.

You are correct though that we haven't factored in shipping. Calendar shipping is just $2 currently so the keychains shouldn't be that much more.

WOW! They were working late to get me a concept. I thought we were going to have to wait for Friday. :)
