alright so im thinking into the future, and i was thinking about going supercharged. and im just getting into car mechanics so i dont know much about it. so i have some general questions.

To make things simple i just want to know what i will need to go supercharged: will i need a intercooler? will i need a blowoffvalve? those sort of things i would like to know.

will you need a i/c: yes and no. you can run one, but alot dont. ford supercoupes run a ic, but the grand prix doesnt.
will you need a blowoff: no, most have a built in bypass valve,

Difficult to set up on an I-6, even more so on a Mk3 and the bang for the $ just isn't there unless you have access to the machine tools needed to fab the "kit".

some guy has the kit for sale on here. i forget who but if its still around when i have the money i was going to pick it up. i just wanted to now if there would be anything else i would need to purchase or just the fab exhaust manifold and the supercharger will be all

Ummm you'd just use an NA Exhaust manifold or something like an NA Pacemaker header, nothing "special" needed on an SC engine exhaust wise other than a system that will flow well.

alright so just some upgrades to have better flow? oh and heres the fs forum with the kit. so besides this kit i probably just need better headers and maybe downpipe? i already have a 3in exhaust system

Wait so you have turbo but you want sc? Turbos are better in every way except low end.

There was someone on here selling a twin charge setup with a Eaton super charger which i think your thinking about. Better to have a n/a and boost the f out of it with a sc to get power out of it or just swap turbo engine upgrade and be done.

From what i read the guy he successfully did the twin charge setup it was nothing but tire spin, but it was nice, but too much.

Damn that was some quick replying. Seen that and i think that was from the orig twin charge setup. Either way not worth it with all the turbo stuff out there.

You can run an ic. Its would be an intake ic to cool the air before it gets to the sc. Kinda like a interfooler for n/a engines but actually with some purpose.

Oh my bad. You have 3in on n/a? that wouldnt be that bad then but then again who noes what else its going to take to actually make that run efficient and not lean. Might as well just junkyard a 2jzge and stick a turbo kit on it with 7mgte electronics.

not that i cant tell only the fab exhaust manifold and the supercharger thats why i was wondering if i would need anything else? ( a new belt of course)
And this is where it'll get a bit exe not to mention figuring out a way to run it as the NA ECU doesn't understand boost....

That's an Intake Manifold NOT an Exhaust ;)

oh lol my bad thought it would be in the same place as a turbo. so would need to figure out the size belt i would need and a way to get ECU to understand boost other wise my fuel mixture will be off correct?

Correct. Would need some kind of tuning and for a belt could make one out of tape and then go to parts store to match one up. But the you still would need intake and iirc they need oil lines unless its self contained.
