Nice car to start with.

Little advice..

You will never get any work done with the way your doing it.your skipping from one thing to the other without finishin up what you started. You went from taking off the throttle body, to ripping interior out, to cleaning you radiator supports. if you wanna get things done, start at one thing, finish it, then start on another thing. make you a little schedule. say for these 2 weeks i wana have the interoir done. that way youl have more confidence to bust your ass and get it done. i hope you understand what im tryin to say, ofcourse i cant tell u what to do, but just a little advice thats all.

all in all good luck and i cant wait for this car to be up and running in tip top shape. :)

yup learned that i did start to many projects at the same time, but im trying to fix them all and then get into a little more organized plan...alot of it was because im excited and i wasnt thinkin...

...i finished up the TB shit, that was just a tune up/anaylize kind of thing.. And i had big plans for the interior but when it crunching number i soon realized that i would be spending mored than what i paid for the car...so i figured that i should stop tearing it a part and screw the idea...yah maybe in the future i will start it again but right now i just need a DD...

cant due it, poodles explained to me

gated shifter won't work, hard to explain, but our shifter fulcrum is literally right under the boot. The gate would have to be a few inches above the console (I had this idea too LOL)

It very possible, just do little at a time you know. like take your time and do 1 door panel. when ever you get more money, do the other door panel lol.

im sure things will work out for you.

good luck

at this point i think its easier to sacrifice the black interior, i can do with a gray that other supras come with, so im looking at that option...

at this point i just want a clean DD, and slowly mod it...

alright update

i get my license in about 24 days so its the mad rush to buy what i need.

i got the car to hold a charge, it seemed like the cable on the alt wasnt making good contact, now holds a charge and starts up fine.

fixed the horn, idk what i did but it started to work again, so i didnt even bother looking for what i did

fixed the heat, turned out to be something unplugged

birdcage light went off after i put some water/AF in

The set backs

Slave cylinder went, getting a new one soon

still no dash/door panels/carpet(i did find them all, still need to pay and get them, got the taxes back already so its going to that)

speedometer cable seems broken

and my hood is stuck, idk what caused it but i cant get it open..

Pictures will be up tomorrow !

5$ + shipping i'll send you a brand new slave cyl... sure beats 20$+shipping ;) (i got it instead of the r154 on accident :( )

for the speedo cable it goes straight from your dash through the firewall and down to the passenger side to the transmission check the cable they usually fall off.

for the hood goto the latch take off the panels and physically pull it with a wrench or something should pop it open... bad comes to worse you have to take everything under the bumper off and pull the wire.

as for those bushings marlincrawler sells a good set that wont go out any time soon (r series or w serious should work and is pretty cheap i have pics up in my thread)

and im curious why my shifter is so low and everyone elses is so high! :)

loving what you are doing so far man! i wouldn't have put that much effort in a supra that looked like that hehe but im glad you are and wish more people would

I found a donor car for a whole bunch of parts, hood, headlights, possibly bumper, glass, doors, carpet, fender and some other smaller parts, all the same blue...

My plans are to save as much as possible and get the 1jz and repaint at the same time. me and a few friends will be doing both, but the final paint job will be done professionally, unless if my friend can do it(he is ok, and is getting better, so if he is good enough by then, he will paint it)...the color will be midnight blue, like it is now...

few other fixes i did,

center bearing bolt(missing one)
a bunch of plugs/vaccume hoses
salve cylinder
bled the clutch.

to be done within the next 2 weeks

new tranny fluid(redline mt90)
tires(i hope)
some much needed cleaning
maybe new speakers(depends on money)
