Hi, everyone! I have starting problem on my '87T. When I'm gonna to fire (especially when my car stand for a few hours), starter turns engine well, but when it should fire one of cylinders, looks like big voltage drop, so the engine do not start, but I hear sound of one or two wroking cylinders.
After that, I disconnect all spark plug wires, and check spark. I have spark only on third coil (cyl 5 and 2). All coils are good (I cheked it by swaping them). I checked wiring (from igniter to coils) also, and it is good too.
If I'm trying to start engine by towing car (I mean connect my car with another and then release clutch) - it starts well.
So, I have theory: my starter consumes too much power, that there isn't enough voltage for spark.
May be you have any ideas?
PS: another strange thing: if i started engine, I can turn off inginion, and then car starts Ok using starter, so the trouble apears after few hours turned off engine.
PS2: sorry if I wrote not quite understandable, my English is not good enough.
