SSautochrome manifold- worth it?

From what I've researched, there has been a change in the "E-Bay" manifolds over time.

The first ones were thinner tube, and it was not 321ss, but 340.

First ones had issues with hitting the oil filter/cooler bypass mount. (I'm not running that, so It's a moot point on my motor, but they have appeared to resolve the clearance issue.)

Second gen ones are getting good reviews from those that have bought them, and are using them.
Even the Trust ones have cracking problems, so I expect over time, in a few years, these will too unless they are braced well, and the turbo is supported. (A simple bracket that ties the turbo to the head, and two or three straight struts welded to the turbo flange, and head flange would work fine IMHO.) There are already brace mounting points on the head, engine mount bracket, and block you can use.

I know the HPF manifold has been modified. It's a open T4 flange. It's twisted slightly more. I've personally inspected that manifold, and looked it over. It's nice. It fits, and it has a great warrenty, backed up by a great company.

That being said, it's only available as part of a complete kit, and it's more money than I want to spend. (It is tempting to not have any fabrication work needed, but I'm going to have to change my DP anyway, so welding is no big deal for me.)

If welding is no big deal for you, the Ebay tubular manifold is an awesome deal.

^^^ Thanks 935, but I was afirming your claim that SSAutochrome never returnes emails... Im pretty sure if I emailed you, then you would have given me a prompt response... As a matter of fact, you have returned my emails before about things :D *gave me some good advice on turbos a long time back*
