SP61 for 450-500whp?

Ok so my goal is 450-500 whp. I was wondering if with an Sp61 turbo I would be able to get those numbers? The car will have its supporting mods for it.

Also is this turbo a complete bolt on to the stock manifold? Also wound I need anykind of spacer for it? Is it alright to use the stock manifold with this turbo for my power goals? Price range on these turbos also? I cant seem ton find any place that sells them.

And what model of the Sp61 would I need for my goals? I was also thinking about a MP T70 or T66, but id like to keep it more simpre and it dosent get more simpler than a bolt on turbo. Thanks

The SP 61 is a great turbo for 450-500 whp, you will have to run about 20 psi. I have a DBB T61 on my 1j and last dyno I made 423 whp at 18 psi, on a pretty conservitve tune. I plan on cranking it up this summer and see what this turbo can really do. I have seen 620 whp on a T61 2jz.....

nice! What rpm is full boost reached at? Is it the bb version?

I put down 451rwhp at 20.5psi with the bolt-on SP61GT.
One of my favorite turbos-15psi by 3300rpm's in 4th gear.

Not BB version. The dyno sheet is a little lean but I bumped the fuel pressure up afterward.
