are the wires easy to get too when this panel is removed, i really wouldn't like to disable it, but i wouldn't even know what the hell to replace if i wanted to keep it

if the starter doesnt work, then chances are it's your alarm. (or a dead starter) but if the alarm goes off, your starter will NOT work.

you could grab the wires for the under hood sensor, and just loop them, but i chose to completely remove the alarm computer. it really wasnt that difficult. once you locate it, just grab a small socket wrench and a couple sockets, and go to town on it. mine came right out. i just removed the under steering wheel trim, and the vent tube that goes across under there. by the way, looping the under hood wires will make the theft deterrant ECU think that a door, or your hood is open, thus preventing it from arming itself when you lock the car.

there is a link in the link i posted, as jimi stated, that shows where the theft deterrant ECU is.

yeah, but if you disconnect it, you have to be sure to ground the start disable wire from the plug. It is pin 13 and is a blue with orange strip wire. if that is not grounded, the car will not start.

that is how the alarm disables the starter if it is triggered. it takes away the ground connection form the starter relay which is that blue w/ orange wire.

The easiest way to do it is to unplug it and put a jumper in the plug between the pin 13 (blue w/ orange wire) and pin 5 (white w/ Black stripe wire). the pin 5 white w/ black stripe wire already goes to ground.

Yeah but i know my alarm is fubar unless something in the starter is f-ing it up, i know i had this problem where the damn car wouldn't start so i took a hair dryer to the cps wires because the wires were so hard and mind you it was like 12 degrees outside and after the hair dryer i moved the cps wires and it started

run one b+ wire to the switch and then run the other end to your starter solenoid and the other end to the switch but make sure that the switch is on the off then flip the switch everytime that your supra will not start cause what will happen is that the starter will crank the motor every time the switch is flip to on but once your car start you need to turn it off or else your starter will die for good ok

I couldn't pull start my car (with a bug-ass diesel truck)
when the alarm was tripped.... How the hell do you manage to push start it? we pulled it all around the target parking lot in 1st 2nd and 3rd gear... Then I call MDC with a "WTF?" and he tells me to lock/unlock the door, and bam.... fires right up.

I'd be checking fuses and stuff too... those "wire" fuses in the fuse box under the hood. But I don't know anything, i drive a mkII. :nono: just trying to help out.

So far its the starter that was filled with oil, so the starter, and starter relay need replacing. I don't know about the alarm yet.
