Son, dad .. car relationship

my dad is the biggest gearhead, wen i was growing up he would always ask me what kinda car is that, teaching me about cars. He gave me a go-kart engine when i was 9 and tools and told me to rebuild it and if i could make it run he would buy a frame for it, he bought me a dirtbike when i was 11, and the scariest fastest rides i ever been on he was driving, needless to say he encourages my supra and even wants to help me get more power, but hes been incarcarated for almost a year awaiting deportation and will be in canada soon so he will not get to experience the rebuilt supra anytime soon:icon_cry:

that was a great video my dad is helping me with my 1j swap can't wait to take him for a ride. WE use to go watch street racing back in the day but he never had a race car. my uncle had a 79 firebird that he scared the shit out of me with once when i was about 13 damn cars pop the front up so easily.

my parents hardly know what kinda cars they drive. I could tell my dad his car has a 454 in it and he'd believe me ( he drives an 06 chevy aveo) I wish my parents shared the same pashion I do with cars. they dont support it at all. So I dont bond with my parents very well at all. Kinda sucks
