What was the trade? boost controller for what?

The entire deal with shipping the BC without insurance and without signature is fishy. The way it was sent to someone's neighbor while Felix has parts sitting at his door.

I'd be talkin to Felix if I were you. bring it up.. question him about it.. observe his reactions. Tell him that you want the part back. Lay it out there. See if he gets all defensive. If he does.. he's got it.

A while ago, a guy i know of in Indy, had a few hundred bucks stole from his money clip. He also had a debit card stolen at the same time. Turns out his best freind since grade school was ripping him off. The guy was caught on tape buying things with the stolen debit card.

my boost controller was being traded for an lc1 wideband. I figured I would go by the honour system. I didnt think about insurance and a signature. I was dealing with someone with over 1000 posts. I would never have thought that his SM and AIM was hacked. Still sounds fishy to me though.

is it a wireless connection? If so i can stand near your shop and access your computer. If you do not have a password set for the main computer i can even go into your computer and use it. Or take all your info save it to my computer and use your info on my computer like if i was sitting at your desk. Then do what i want. Its not hacking or anything but a wireless connection gives you that much freedom if you do not secure yourself. If it isn't a wireless connection i'd say virus scan and get new passwords for everything.

Sounds like some stupid shit if you ask me... I dont care if you trust someone cause of posts, if you havnt met him/her IRL or talked over the phone i do not see why you wouldnt get insurance? This is the internet, anyone can be anybody they want to online and its hard to prove otherwise.

While computer security may be an issue here, I do not see how anyone would think this is 100% Adams fault. If it was me id get in contact over the phone with whoever i trade with, get whatever personal information they can give. And put some goddamn insurance on whatever im shipping. That way if somebody trys to fuck you over you dont lose out 100% Obviously since what I understand they only talked and continue to talk on AIM/SM it is also Kyles fault for not being cautios enough to get fucked. (shit happens)

Use some common since, doing a deal over an instant messenger service, or thru PM on a message board is asking to be fucked over. Wether intentional or not. But if you ask me I dont really think Adam is scamming anyone. My friend pat knows him IRL and doesnt think he would do this, also I have talked to him briefly on AIM using pats account but it was at least 7 months ago.

anyways remember how i said to calm down for a week or so so i could look for it.. WELL GUESS WHAT! I FOUND UR HKS EVC and I HAVE IT IN MY ROOM. come to find out that kid that i thaught did it did it....i didnt ask how he had my password why he did it or anything.he has a 1994 honda accord. non turbo just a cold air intake yo.. so we go gocarting and i see his car there. i just happen to look inside of it and guess what is setup in his ashtray under his ricer neon controller.. A FUKING EVC!!! so i walked back to my car. and i busted his fukin shit open. the vavle and hoses where in the glove box and there was a new hose on there too. it had the murrays price on there unless u sent it with that.. anyways like i said i needed soem time and i have it.. now how about you give me your address so you can have ur evc back:)
