Nar. That would be Ron unless I'm mistaken.

Oh, and btw: Holy long tube header! I love it Ron!

Ron is in the welding helmet as he is the custom fab guy ;) Long tube header is the way to go :biglaugh: Almost completed!

More pics to come later. Maybe I will keep this as my build up thread..? Sort of as alot is done. :)

DUANE! Are those ARP bolts holding your fuel rail on? :jawdrop:

LOL Yup along with the water pump, lower timing cover, and top timing cover. :) Not all bolts are in stock and are on back order.

LOL. Actually I had not planned on the ARP hardware because they didn't make any metric other than the studs. I had ARP throughout my entire engine bay on my old Cutlass. Since I saw Ron with them I said! WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE (as ARP again didn't make them) ?!! He said they JUST came out so now I have them. :)

I guess everybody who's anybody is having a new build thread. I guess that means I'm nobody..................;)

I love the superwhite. We're definately going to paint my wife's car back white now, after seeing how pretty yours is. How many coats of clearcoat are on it? That may be what's making it shine so much. I may want to pay extra for more clearcoat. Great job so far and can't wait to see more pics...........lol

He (Paint guy) used a special paint that has the coat in it. It was a a sealant the primer then something else that he used, then paint. I had gone over there many times over this and shold know. LOL It took about 1&1/2 months ish. I will have to ask him about the primer and process again. Materials were pretty pricy but worth every penny. I think another reason for the bay coming out nice was the stripping to bare metal.. It gives a nice fresh start to make things perfect and better than factory :)

Thanks fore the comments as I really appreciate it.

I guess the thread could be changed (Ron?) maybe add build thread for Duane? LOL Thanks bud :)

You better not scratch that bay putting the beast back in!
That snail looks strangely familiar...
Nice work Ron! I love the anal-retentive attention to detail Duane!
Our oil cooler is bigger than yours! ;)
Why aren't there ARP bolts holding your cams in???

Hey jake

Because the cams are not fully in yet ;) LOL The detail is what I like most when putting parts on a car. Especially the engine bay. Some may not even notice that I had all the holes filled but it for sure looks cleaner :)
I have another oil cooler for it along with an Amsoil acumulator/pre-oiler. :biglaugh:

A few more pics!

Details. The hood hinges are painted 2 colours for a reason: The hood is black and is why the top half is black. The body is white therefore I painted the bottom.

The interior has some new parts and here are a few of the some. Thanks Champion!
