Hero, dont laugh, there have been times I've sat in my Supra and not really made noises, but, ok, I made noises... But still... You just seriously start to miss it...

All I did was measure it next to the OEM stick and go from that.

I sold my RHD 1J to my bro. (not in pic) The red car in the background is a mock up car (Ron's) and the grey one is a customer > He has been waiting for my car to be finished so we can start working on his. Then we have Ron's.

Duane

PS: 1 Supra is enough for me as I would want them all to be fast so I drive a normal car also.
you forgot to mention your sweet neon.
:biglaugh:
You guys gunna be working on it on saturday?
I might drop by and hang out.

Wife drives an Echo for now but I get the Supra. It is hard to have many nice things all at once. We also have a house to pay for but is nice to own a place and have a garage for my Supra. :)

I will be there (at Ron's) every weekend til dooms day LOL. When my Supra is fnished, we have another one to complete then we have Ron's to work on at the same time!

Echo ftw....lol, they are butt ugly, but its the most reliable car Toyota has made in the last 10 years. Nothing ever goes wrong with them. My ex drove one , I got it in divorce. It has over 100k, never needed anything but brakes and tires, of course reg maint.

That's all a 7m really needs, and it would be as reliable as anything else :nono: Unfortunately, it seems like 85% of the original owners of supras bought the cars with no plans to take care of them.
Your right about people not taking care of them, but they had plenty of issues on top of that starting with a new h/g every 30 k. It amazes me how f'ing dumb people can be. If you cant afford oil and trans fluid and some filters, dont strap yourself down with a payment on a 30-40,000$ car. I once did a short block on a camry that threw a rod out the front with 37,000 miles on the original filter! Idiot spent like $4k on a block, but wouldnt pay to change the filthy trans fluid or the front tires with cords showing that had never been rotated.

back on topic,

Duane, holy crap you have really really been putting your heart and soul into this car and i cant wait to see this in person/get owned on the highway. You said my car reminded you of what yours used to be, i dont see how thats possible because that peice of art is on a whole new level.

Keep going man, your living the dream.

Thanks people:)

I hope to fire it up this weekend! I am waiting for my bud at the machine shop to make my DP flange and then a few other things to help get it ready. The little things are what takes time.

Dave..this has been here for a long time LOL

PS: I will be dynoing the car most likely next month.
