I believe the original weight distribution of the car is 53-4% front 46-7% rear.

And if you weigh the front and rear separately the numbers you get will be off by a little. It will give you a rough estimate by not exactly. Its best to just put scales under all four wheels or have someone do it for you.

For the average Joe the weighbridge will be close enough......

If you're racing it as a class car you'll more than likely have a set of scales or access to them.

You also need to factor in the fuel load and the driver weight if you're going to corner weight the car.

Yeah, the gas tank isn't in the most ideal spot for balance...

But if you move it to behind the driver (where the back seats used to be) you will affect distrobution even more.

i took the cheap option of removing stuff from my supra to make it lighter.

its a pure track car and the safety isnt up there with a street car since ive remobed the bumper supports etc etc but has a 6 point bolt in cage and all up, my car weights 2640 lbs with full tank of fuel

(oh 7mgte/tremec powered)

shame i weigh 210 lbs

2640 in an MK3? I don't believe it. Not in an I'm in disbelief way, but in a way that I think you're wrong or lying. If it's really true, I need to see some kind of proof. But there's no way just removing stuff will get you that light.

was just about to say u and aglobalthreat should be partners or something

It's just a big claim to say your car is that light. That's why I want some proof, like get it on some corner scales and take a picture or something like that. If you're just basing this off a scale at the drag strip or truck stop or whatever like that, those things are always off.

I've weighed lots of the things off of a supra all the way down to a fully stripped chassis, so I know how much things weigh. So it's not that your claim isn't possible, I just need to see some proof. Which I think is totally fair when making a claim like this.
