Apparently the state of California is giving us an IOU, so I wonder if my dyno guy will take an IOU. :sarcasm:

Yeah, according to what I've read it looks like your CA refund is being pushed back 30 days. The state is basically hoping that the people that have a balance due will pay before the 15th, then they're using that to pay back refunds. Maybe... 1% of the people that owe are paying early.

I just realized that I'd really like to get my hands on a FFIM/Q45 setup.

I don't get a refund, I write a check.

My check for last year was a little bit too big. :icon_mad:

The gov doesn't give you interest on money you loan them but they will charge interest on money you owe!

This year it went to pay off the Wells Fargo CC. ;) and 6 mo. of auto insurance.

*poof* $4200 return gone, no supra parts, but that is what the CC is for right? LOL

new tires, new r154, new paint, maybe more....

Next year im going to set it up so that the extra money goes into an account gaining a few % rather than letting Obama and Friends benefit from it. Hopefully I will not have a refund next year but a nice little tax saving account, in case I have to pay in. If not, more new parts!!!

ahh the joy of taxes! I remember 3 years back I owed $400.. bastards

Owing $400 is a $400 interest free loan to the government you did not make. :)

I was just wondering if anyone had plans to use part of their refunds on their Supe's. I've been wanting to do this for like 5 years now, so I'm going to make sure I don't waste my refund this time...My poor car has been sitting on the same set of 16x8 Mille Miglia crap rims for over a DECADE now, and I think she deserves new shoes-

p1242746_1.jpg

Yeah... they served their purpose. So long old n' busted, time for new hotness...

This is what I plan on getting. Sportmax 2-piece 502's in chromium black with a stainless rim, 18x8.5 and 18x9.5, with +35 offset. 245/35R18 in front, and 285/30R18 in the rear. I'm just excited because I'll finally be filling the wheelwells up properly! :naughty:
Well, at least that's my plan...again...

So what's everyone else thinking they might do?

I'll use my tax refund to pay for shipping of your old rims to me if you really don't like them that much. :D

To be honest, I'd rather pay in than receive a cheque...that way you're not losing interest on your money that they've held onto for the past year.

We don't lodge our returns until July 1, but for another year, my entire return will go back to the government to pay back my university loan... I get no say in the matter... They automatically take it out once you earn over XX amount... After this year, should only have $9000 to go (and then come August, I'll be adding to it again LOL)!
