Get a new flywheel regardless. Heat caused the cracks which as we all know is a bad thing. If you surface the flywheel, there will probably be a lot taken off in order to get beyond the cracks. If you're adding more power, there will be more heat & less material to absorb the heat. You'll have more headaches if you stick with what you have.
