Interesting how the announcer started by saying "an actor, gone way too soon, a tragedy, a major one". I feel bad for his family, but since when is the death of a pill popping man an effing tragedy? I'm surprised people are shocked he died, after the toxicology report came out. What is their definition of a "tragedy"? What gross, myopic lack of perspective, considering the innnocent lives being lost around the world (including here in the US) due to international terrorism, hunger, desease, war, poverty, genocide, homelessness, etc. I have not forgotten about the 50 people burned alive inside a Assemblies of God church in Eldoret, Kenya in early 2008, the thousands of civilians fleeing their countries all over the world, the dead and homeless from Katrina, not to mention the dead and the grieving after Sept 11, 2001. News flash to the idiotic talking heads of TV: Those are tragedies, by any definition and standard. Your exploitation of the death of this actor for the sake of ratings makes you nothing but whores. And then they try to put Montel on the spot by asking him for details on any of the US Armed Forces deaths he mentioned. So kudos to Montel for showing the bastards as the dimwits they are. I'm sure they didn't like having their ignorance showed on national television. Too bad Montel lost his job for speaking his mind. I hope he lands on his feet; he has earned my respect.
