i think mines that blew up is a 3.91 or the 3.73 with like 166 K miles
I got thins one finally an was told it came out of a 90 an the ratio is like 4.10 with like 65 K miles on it ...
I think I would have like one with lower numbers cos I think I want that quicker off the start rather than better top end speed ...
first what should I do to this newer suposedly good diff before I put it in ?
can I or should I get it looked at meaning,, before i inistal it should I have it rebuilt ? and or can I have the gearing in it changed to a lower gear ratio like desired ?
then I thought,
can I just have mine that blew rebiult ? or would that be too pricey ?
Whould appreiciate all my options guys ....
an also,, when I got it,, I learned from DHL it was leaking ? is that a big problem ?
