I just used the clear that comes in a can, i was too lazy to go out and use a gun.......whitch now i have access to a $400 devilbis (sp?) spray gun at my dads work...who knew a electrical systems specialist would have spray equipment lol. Used it to repaint my front bumper from rock chips and did very well. but knife, i think now that you mention it I might try that to mine, I think I have some 3000grit laying around....Ill let you know how it turns out.theKnifeArtist said:can't i clear it myself? and then maybe wetsand it at like 2000? what does a body shop have that i don't?
