Just scratch up the shineyness with a scotch brite. Then take your vht, dust on 4-5 coats. Then take it to your nearest body shop and have them clearcoat it. They come out very glossy, as you can see on mine.

money? clients? friends? cool toys to play with? a big box that gets hot? a rainbow of magical colors that you can swirl around in? :D:D:D

hahaha

Clear coating is fun, and smell wonderful! Make sure you have plenty of ventilation and dont use clear coat in a can... Use a two part with a hardener... Should run you between 40-50 bucks... Then make sure you have a good touch up sprayer: Home Depot for $40... A good one from a paint supply store, closer to $100... Before you go do all that, ask a paint place how much they clear yur turns for...

oh boy here it comes..
I just used the clear that comes in a can, i was too lazy to go out and use a gun.......whitch now i have access to a $400 devilbis (sp?) spray gun at my dads work...who knew a electrical systems specialist would have spray equipment lol. Used it to repaint my front bumper from rock chips and did very well. but knife, i think now that you mention it I might try that to mine, I think I have some 3000grit laying around....Ill let you know how it turns out.

I said it smells good, because it does... It has that sweet sweet poison 5 hours later headache smell... ;) Thats why they say, plenty of ventilation and wear a mask... That stuff goes EVERYWHERE!

Reign, they arent completely black, like i said i just dusted the black on so it is just like a ton of little dots of black on the light. hard to notice unless you are face to lens with them. The light still shines through them pretty damn well. i was thinking about finding an led bulb just to make it a little brighter.

IJ is right, painting can mess you up pretty bad. I was painting with this one shit a while back that contained halucinagenic chemicals, and my mask had old filters in it. Bad time driving home from work. Mailboxes turned into horses. lol.

Ill get some better pics of the lights once it is nice again. Its freaking snowing here.
