1st of all - I used the search feature and still have some questions -

Alright- I just replaced my turbo, which was leaking oil through the accordian hose, with one i bought from "Suprafanatic" here in the forums-

After I put it in, i left the car running to check for any leaks- saw nothing wrong-

So i lowered the car and took it for a quick test drive- As soon as i shifted from 1st to 2nd- a huge cloud of smoke came from the right side of my engine bay (the turbo side)-

The smoke would only show up after i'd shift, which seemed kinda weird -

Afterwards, i drove straight home and popped the hood, leaving the motor on, and saw a steady spray of smoke coming from behind my turbo-

I then checked underneath the motor and saw some oil leaking from the what looked like the corner of the IC next to the oil cooler- Im not to sure where the oils comin from- :1zhelp:

Any ideas? Thanks :)

and sorry for the essay :D

Like suprafanatic said on the oil leak recheck the oil feed screw with the 2 crush washers and make sure that it is torqued to spec. I had that problem when I gotten my 87 Turbo Supra.

Naw, i had that problem before, but i went out and bough new ools o properly tighen it- so its definitely not that-

But just now i did notice another problem - i went to grab some tools i left on my motor, when i saw a hole on that right side of my IC-

looks like this may be the cause of the oil leak, but i doubt this is causing all the smoke-
