So as you can see I was everywhere. Where were you? :)

I was at the Scenic Drive in Johnathan1's car, I made my way through, talking to various people there. I was also at the Show 'n Shine for the whole time, hung out with a few various people, walked through the cars many times. After that I headed to the drags that night for the test/tune, but it was pretty boring, haha.

Overall, great time, maybe I'll see ya next year ;).

This is the dyno open. That is your authors car. It is really dirty these days.

One thing that stood out was the 1JZ swaps. And not in a good way. All that trouble for 300 rwhp? The high one was 325 with a turbo upgrade. And they don't come on nearly as early as the 7M, most dont start to hit until 4000 RPM. So, even with tuning and upgrades, torque is still the problem. Not the peak number, but when it comes on.

The WOTM Supra ran an 8.8@161 at the morning test and tune. Pretty damn good for a show car.

'nuff said.

This is Chris Jensen's ride.I don't know who he is, but here is his car. He has a web page where you can read about his upgrades. It is incredible in person. What I like is cleanliness.

Here is a picture of the Celica Supra 2JZ. He gets online for having a clean car, and just as important, a very clean install. Those are big points for me as you know.

The judging has always been by popular vote. We'd love to find some official judges to determine the winners but we haven't found anyone that could be impartial and work for free.

I know, I know...

I am always impartial. ;)

The white one that one was very good. But the dark red one was just fabulous.

This is that 1UZ swap. Another good swap choice in my book. He is also a good driver. He ran consitent 14.6-14.8, with a string of 14.7's.

He has a nice street/strip car. Parachutes FTW.

These two were at the drags. Two of my favorite cars. This guy ran a dramaless 9.45. It was quite the beast. Only one faster was the high dollar WOTM car.

Well i know that a 1JED MKIII won at TX2k5 and TX2k6 drags, i dont know whats up with the SILV 06 1J's!!

If the highest was 325whp with a single turbo then that is weak sauce for sure!!!

The crew at JawsGear was supposed to bring out a monster 1J but like Tony's and Bryan's Monster 7Ms they couldn't get it finished in time. I too have been not blown away by the power of the 1J. I've seen MkIIs with 7Ms pushing more power.

I will have the complete list of dyno pulls online soon so everyone can see who ran and what they did.

Too bad you only got to see poor examples. 325 is easily attainable on stock twins. :ugh2:

325 is also attainable on a 7M with bolt-ons and a CT26.

Is it too early to think about SILV '07? I am ready.

I don't want to think about 07 yet (although I have actually been working on 07 since June).

When will the 1J's step up? Who knows! :)

I never said it wasn't.

I'm ready for silv 07. I'll be there this time, for real! (been sayin that for the past 3 years)
