It is time for a massive ninja edit. This is actually only half of the pictures, but it will still take several posts to put them up. Huge dial up warning.

This was my first time out. Some said the numbers were down. The track sure seemed empty to me.

Keith H is an all around nice guy. The staff that puts the event together does a good job. I can't name everybody that helped. I just don't know everybody. But one other person that was every where with coordination was Steve Michael.

This is just before hitting Vegas. What a beautiful drive this time of year.

The initial meet up for lunch and the scenic drive was in the back rows of the Luxor garage.

I am putting this one up just because I thought it was one of the best ones at the show. I don't even know who owns it.

These are some shots of the scenic drive through Red Rock Canyon Park.

some people said last years was way better, but this one still rocked!

anybody who attended the awards ceremony saw my buddy walk away with the "most creative made up class" award, as well as the hariest MkIII driver award....nothing like making a whole room laugh at your friend's expense for $50!

we drove down in the gay blue supra in the end of one of those pictures...auto na. He decided to showcase his BHG at the show and shine...haha

edit: here's a link to my myspace photo blog, if your not too good for it

got the engine bay pics from the 2J and UZ MkII's as well...

More from the drive. Yes, my fan clutch was soft. I changed when I returned home. Simple repair that probably caused BHG's through the years. Here is more from the drive. It is time to retire for the night. I will finish the rest in the morning.

I think I went the furthest to get there. *Maybe* somebody flew further, but they didn't drive 2100 miles after flying. My wife and I spent two days on the plane, then two in the car, both ways.

The dyno and show and shine pics will be later. It is late.

Where did you fly from and where did you drive from?

I don't even think I saw Keith the whole time I was there. Was looking for him too, lol.

Weird.

Jeff... Sorry I missed you in Vegas. I was at every activity though. Unfortunately I had a lot of work to do at most of them.

On the Scenic Drive I was the one in the Chevy Trailblazer that kept playing leapfrog with the group so we could get pictures - pictures coming soon. I was at dinner at PT's. At the Dyno I spent most of my time in front of the shop getting people signed up for the Poker Tournament and I was also at the Poker Tournament until Steve Michael got bumped out. My normal salesperson did not make it to Vegas this year so I got stuck in the booth selling the SILV T-shirts the whole day. I made it to the drags by 1pm and went directly to the shaded part of the grandstands. I was also one of the guys on stage at the Awards Presentation.

So as you can see I was everywhere. Where were you? :)

Yes, our numbers were down this year - but really only by about 25 cars from our average. I lost track of the number of people that told me that they just couldn't get their projects done in time (myself included). The Dyno was about average and the Poker Tournament was actually up 10 players from last year. The drags were very light but I heard a lot of people broke in the morning (or at the unofficial drags on Friday night). Overall though the event ran very well. We still have to figure out how to get those 30ish Supras to come out from the garage and join us at the Show-and-Shine.

I am going to try to go back through my records and make a chart to show our numbers over the past few years.
