My friend and I did it to his corolla because we couldn't get the strut brace to fit. And oddly enough, his new master cylinder for his brake kit needed a little more clearance as well.

Yea, that pic of that white car gives me a really good idea.. Not sure if I'd wanna raise it that much though. I guess I'll take that rubber strip off and see how well that works, then go from there.
