Sup guys, I just took out my shifter from my car because it was very wobbly when in 1st it looks like its in neutral, so I pulled it out and I looked at where the bushing are supposed to be from the post about the green truck bushing, but I dont have anything where the green bushing is supposed to go and the white bushing is gone as well, could it just have been that both wore out or what? I found something that looks like the remains of the white one, but is something supposed to be where the green one goes?

there is a stock black piece where the green one goes if i remember correctly.
the white one should be around the ball on the bottom of the shifter

Mega run-on. Fixed. ;)

I went form a non-existant stock peice, with a crappy bushing to the green trucker bushing and stuff (the things you ordered)

The difference made my supra. It feels so much better! Much tighter and SOO smooth! Works awesome with the sogi mod!!!!

Really makes the car feel very different!

oh good god! now we have a spelling policeman? Though his grammar was not perfect, he got his point across pretty darn well. (BTW, YOU spelled PUNCUATION incorrectly, try PUNCTUATION)

First, welcome to SM. Second,(not to bitch or any thing.) please try to use correct puncuation and grammar.(Makes it easer for others to read and help you.) There are two bushings IIRC, one white and one green like you said. You should replace them if you can. You can order them both here.http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/performanceparts/Toyota/Supra_86-92/Transmissions/Shifter_Part

^ What ever guy. I was just trying to make sure he doesn't fall into the bad habbit of running on. I claim to be no policeman(what do you mean "WE" have spelling policeman? You have three posts.), thats why I said "(not to bitch or any thing.)" As for me for not spelling punctuation right, that is why I said TRY to use correct grammar etc. I know for damn sure I'm no Webster's Dictonary and will be the first to admit it. Lighten the hell up.

If he, or anybody else, was being the grammar or 'spelling police' the post would have read a lot like yours seattle. Something like this: "oh good god, and secondly, because I'm bitching at you pointlessly, try to use correct puncuation and grammar you tard. (Makes it easer for others to read and help you, since you can't help yourself you unedumacated inbred asswipe.)

There have been plenty of well intentioned grammar corrections on this site, because run-ons, all caps, no punctuation, and failure to give a damn sometimes make things too hard to read and people who can give a good answer might just pass it by. Learn that 'constructive' criticism is a good thing and learn to take it (especially for somebody else who did) with a sense of humor.

EDIT: Cool, my 300th post is a bitch post :D

Sl1dewaysSupra, I'd suggest you go back and look at your last post and then mine. Me Lighten up??? You should preach your own words. I was not being harsh whatsoever, unlike you. Your response to the guy posting the question and then me now shows alot about you and being critical. Like I said, the guy who posted the question got his point across pretty darn good with pretty decent grammar.

What ever dude! Can we please TRY to keep this on topic like NashMan here?^ ANYWAYS, I ordered the Marlin bushings the other day. This weekend I will try to do a tranny flush as well as replacing those bushings. I'll report what I think about them.
