So hopefully ill be able to buy some parts soon after i pay my bills off. That sucks why so long for the torque converter and how much is it?

I have 5 years on my 7M, I tore into it last year due to ringland issues, and I went ahead and checked the bearings. They looked fantastic! 7Ms seem to be pretty bad on dry starts, no matter what mods have been done. I also have the shimmed oil relief, and run a qt over full at all times, but the comfort of watching the oil light go out before you even touch the key and move the engine is where its at. Hey another thing, why is that ABS box still there? Rip that thing out! Car might as well get a diet if you're going this racecar with it
yeah good idea, i've always enjoyed standard more. btw i got that job working at the tranny shop starting in the am.sheedy126;2078130 said:From what they were saying, I think it was atf, that they had never done a 7m to th400 converter. They sell a a340e to th400 adapter but it was intended to be used on a 2jz engine. I ordered this and then return it later.
The wait was because they would have to design/fabricate a converter it's not just something off the shelf. After they said the wait and it would be expensive, I just bailed on the idea for now.
What exactly is an accusump? I've seen them on build threads here and there but really haven't looked much into them. Saying that, I'll go check them out
