Did you remove all A/C associated hardware?
High and Low Side Pressure lines, dryer, condenser, evaporator?
If you don't need it rip it out sell it, less weight.

Then just leave. You won't be missed.

He didn't even have AC on the engine to begin with so nothing has really changed. Did you miss that part?

Yep all gone. Not a piece left. I even took the air conditiong box out of the heating duct in the dash so it is just a straight pass through.

Power steering pump and lines and reservoir and cooler will all be out of view once motor is in

The engine is lighter, takes up less space in the engine bay, has an electric water pump, shorter belt, is easier to service, has shorter power steering hoses and more effective contact of the belt over the pulleys. I would say that is pretty good advancement for a self taught half mechanic. If you disagree, please make a thread showing new and exciting things you have discovered in your 1JZ/SC300 ownership.

Well garagefujimoto, thats about all you can do in that area. :)

Too bad there is so much hostility on this board between members having conflicting viewpoints. I would actually hang out here more.

Modifying a car in any way like for visual looks, performance, in car entertainment, any mod you do is supposed to IMPROVE the car. Removing A/C is not improving anything. If you want to clean up the engine bay, get a sandblaster and repaint the engine bay with some new automotive paint the color of the car (not black rustoleum rattle can), and about 5 coats of clear, and get rid of that stupid upper rad hose and get an aluminum one with the probe bung tigged in.

Let me guess dude, you're staying stock twins? LOL

This forum can be so lame sometimes. Instead of posts about how to improve the 1JZ and Supra scene with quality developments and technical articles, we get rednecks showing how they removed their A/C. Keep up the good work guys.

If i was mod of this forum this thread would have been deleted the second I read the word a/c delete. This is worse then a 3rd gen Camaro forum.

Then stop coming here. You're such a turd burglar.

If you really feel the need to be banned, I can take care of that for you.

Someone tell these A/C delete kids that when it's turned off, it's just a idler pulley that takes zero HP to spin. Even if you have the A/C turned on, when you go WOT, the ECU turns it off.

Hey while you're at it, remove those seatbelts too. They are overrated.
someone please ban this annoying fuckin guy

Its not hate Pirate, the guy loves to stir it up, for whatever reason... Comments like deleting the thread based on the fact it talks about removing the AC is ridiculous... I live in Florida, I have NO ac on my Supra... So? Does it make the car any less worthy? No... If I decide I HAVE to have it back, I can always put it back... But its not worth wrecking someones thread and actin up just to voice your protest of removing it... My feeling is, say how you feel, why they should leave it, then back off... No need to keep it going...

air flow goes through the ic ,then condensor, and then the radiator.all this on a car that get's hot as hell under the hood.i can see how removing the condensor won't help ;)

Pics of the intake manifold? I think the PS over there with a single would look way out of place and the manifold cant be that big.. just my .02

and I think a/c is a must in the supra.. unless a racecar or something.. its just ghetto without it.. my .02 again..
