Good deal. Glad all the issues turned out to be just some loose connections. I know we both were scratching our heads for a minute. Can't wait to hear it properly muffled.

Miguel, while you're there make sure to eat some good food & women. I'm interested in seeing what their test and tune night looks like. Can't wait for vids.

Food is good although they make just about everything with banana which does take some getting used to. Most of the food here is also fried so my plan on trying to eat healthier has pretty much gone out the window until i get back. The women are gorgeous and very friendly; they seem to be very curious about my accent (Puerto Rico Spanish is very different from Mexican Spanish). I've been hanging out quite a bit with this girl i met on the plane ride over here and she's shown me a few hidden gems most tourists don't usually go to. On a side note, I saw a fixed up MK2 Supra on the road the other day; i tried to take a pic but i was driving so it didn't happen. I'll probably be going to the track sometime next week so ill keep you posted on that.

Got the old muffler done, but its still loud as hell. My waste gate must be dumping all the time. Gonna let it cool down so that I can take the wastegate off and inspect. If its not one thing its another.

Found the problem......I forgot the air fitting for the wastegate.

A lot of this is from starting and stopping on this damn project. I forget where I left off.

Sounds good. Still running the stock map & 440's? You should get a baseline of what it does in the 1/4 before modding. It's always interesting to see real track results from new mods. That's if you're into the dragstrip thing.

Yeah, its stock. Im gonna cruise it ti work and back for 6 months or so before I pump any more money into it. If it proves to be reliable I'll buy some rims and tires. Paint will follow, and if she acts right then I'll start to mod. You need to bring your car over. I dont trust my car enough to take it a cross town.

Feels good, and I'm a little excited about finally getting her on the road. Its a shame that she could of been on the road 2 years ago if I stayed focused for a couple of more weeks. Oh well.

lol. I felt the same way the first few months of getting my car back on the road. I didn't want to drive more than 10miles in any one direction because that's how far my car insurance covers under towing. Generally they tow your car to the nearest qualified mechanic shop. I had them change it to tow directly to my house since I fix my own cars. Anything after 10 miles I have to pick up the tab. I think it's ten miles.

Well meet up soon. I'd love to take a ride in a MKIII with a "real" engine. How much boost are you running? I'm getting excited just thinking about it.

Sounds like you're having a good time. How's the nightlife down in PR? Are you planning on experiencing that? You're young enough... I think. Live it up, and have a blast.

So far so good, the people are extremely nice here and very helpful. I have been trying to plan my days so that i get to check out as much as possible during the day but i have gone out a few nights with that girl and tomorrow were supposed to do karaoke. I'm not much of a singer but she talked me into it so we'll see how that goes....

Sounds good just let me know when because I moved.

10 psi. Im just running it off the spring. Its a 10 psi spring. I just took it out for some of this cold air and it's a little scary. I haven't felt boost in such a long time. Thing im going to set boost at 7psi. gonna cruise it to work tomorrow, and see how it goes. I sure cant afford another write up at work.

Also im still looking for a rubber shifter boot that goes bolted to the chassis. If anyone has one or knows where I can find a parts car let me know.

I've got my map ecu tuned pretty good so far. Good enough to put the drag radials back on and head out to the dragstrip. She what she'll do. Like mentioned before I'm running a smaller turbo & less boost so I don't expect to best my latest e.t.'s this time around. I'm hoping for low 13's though. Whenever I get bigger injectors I'll crank up the boost and tune open loop for it. I'm wondering where the limit is for this turbo before it starts to run out of breath.
