I just got back. It was pretty cool. I saw a couple of my co-workers out there. It's mainly a newer domestic, old muscle car, rat rods kinda crowd. Not many, if any at all, imports there. It's much like Biff's, but better. They have free spectator parking, and $2.00 "donation" parking if you're displaying you car. Food vendors, and cold drinks. They don't sell alcoholic drinks, but you can bring your own if you want. I had a good time I have pics, but not uploading them tonight. Maybe tomorrow.

Saw this a little too late, if your thinking about going next month let me know and i'll join you....Bring on the pics!!!

I worked on the new official DD after work today. It's an automatic 95 Nissan Maxima V6. I am going to have to invest a bit on this car before I can rely on it as a daily but its a start. I gave it a little TLC today cleaning it up a bit and took a closer look into the mechanical and noticed a few things that are going to need attention under the hood. Pretty much all the fluids need flushing and changing. The radiator hoses look a bit soft and one of them looks like a balloon about to pop when the car warms up. The intake hoses are made of that weird foam/rubber/plastic material that is now basically crumbling along with the plastic filter box. It needs an alignment and the front shocks. Paint could use a touch up. Two tires are basically slicks with the wires sticking through. It's missing one Enkei rim to complete the set and has a rusted steely so it looks kinda wack on one side. Now for the good; better on gas than the Supra with good power, the A/C is nice and cold, interior is in pretty darn good shape, and i guess the most important one is that the car has been in the family for some time now so I know its history. I knew it was going to have a few maintenance issues since its been sitting for some time and only started up once in awhile but overall i think the car is pretty solid. I will probably change the things that are falling apart on the car with some aftermarket stuff. I'm going to try and fit a set of 17" Acura rims I've got that have better tires so i can get it aligned and put off buying tires a bit longer.

I'll post up a few pics of it tomorrow.

Long time guys....been a minute since I've been on here. Well I haven't done a lot to the Supra in about 3 months. Been having a lot of set backs lately. Been dealing with my mom who was diagnosed with uterine cancer. Finally got her on the road to recovery.
Ok ...that's done. Well now I've decided to move. Selling my house and building my retirement home......hopefully. Supra has been officially been put on the back far left under the ragged out shoe corner. Even possibly selling it. But my heart wants to keep it. Finally gonna make some time to put it back together since i think a functional garage will sell better than a Supra storage shed. Hopefully I'll have better living arrangements in a few months to see if the Supra will be in my future plans.

MA.....the nissan maxima is a tank of a car. I have a 2000 max gle with over 215,000 miles and it still kicks some azz. Still has good power and good gas mileage but startin to become a maintenance hog. They look nice fixed up and lowered. Try maxima.org they have a pretty good community over there just as good as this site.
Well I'll still be lurking around and Rufus i still may need you for primer job only. I'll call you when i get back into town.....suppose to be vacationing with the family in Port A.

This one has 240+ thousand miles on the clock!! The engine has been swapped with a low mileage engine (around 65k on that one and before dropping it in it had a few things changed out like the water pump, timing chain, etc) but the tranny is still the original; it definately is a tank though. The rims i had fit the car with some spacers from autozone so the car looks more asthetically pleasing but one of the tires seems to have a lump on it or something so I'll still probably have to replace at least one tire. The new set of rims and tires are abit wider as well. The car got an unexpected upgrade while changing the engine's oil. The drain plug was a little beat up and i happened to have a Greddy drain plug that was originally intended for the Supra but didn't fit as it was for a JZ motor rather than the 7M(mistake on the person who listed the item and mine for not checking the part number for the size thread). Here are a few pics:

Brought my car over from the old house, and I got to thinking.... I'm just about done with cars. I'm gonna ride this one till it dies, and then ill be out of the game for sure. Just gonna buy her some rims and tires and call it a day.

Has anyone been ti the junk yard? I'm looking for a gay blue targa in good condition.

Yeah the car show is for their grand opening. I stopped by the other day and they changed the store around quite a bit; they are carrying a lot of performance products like AEM, Vibrant, and even Mickey Thompson slicks. The car show is free to attend, not too late, and they are supposed to be giving out free stuff. They will also have a dyno that day for like $45 (if i remember correctly) in case anybody wants to strap up their car and get some numbers. I think this is a good opportunity to get a small get together going.

Here is the flyer:
