Ok so the engine is in the car. it starts it idles no problems, no leaks no funny noises, sounds good. Wont go into gear with car running. Will go into gear with car off. The clutch got bled today no difference that i could tell and still wont go into gear with car running. got suggested that clutch was in backwards but it was labeled which way faced the engine and all that any other suggestions????? Maybe I will just take it to toyota and let it be there problem I need sleep.
ok well i got it to where it goes in gear now but when i took it down the street it is grinding when shifting a lil???? confused on what would be causing that or is that normal for a new clutch at first?
Nicole did you get it running? Sorry I couldn't be more help but thats not a area that I know.

i found my old turbo brace that goes under the manifold and bolts to the motor mount.
the one you gave me is bent a bit more than mine and thats why we couldn't get it to line up. do you want yours back?

also that guy that sold me my exhaust and almost sold darrell a old motor is thinking about throwing shit away or putting it in storage.
he told me he was tossing his auto trans, offer him some cash for shit and im sure he would make some great deals.
he had a red 89 turbo that got wrecked but he still has some ok body parts.
fair warning he is hard to get a hold of due to work
he still has a motor that has to be rebuilt due to sitting in the rain
i have his ct26 and k&n for sale

Yes i got it running, but it feels like the clutch is riding on the flywheel, i have a minor coolant leak from what i am assuming is one of the coolant lines going to the firewall... but not sure, need to fill the power steering reservoir up and work out the rest of the lil shit.... like timing and it doesn't want to hold an idle but it runs a lil bit

I met tsavenged this last Sunday at the meet on Culebra and 1604. O..M..G... there was a shitload of cars out there. I thought it was going to be 5-10 cars tops. Boy, I was wrong. That's one hell of a meet going on there. And the really cool thing was I didn't see the police running people out of there. Then again, I just rolled through. I felt like the "swagger wagon" family out there. I was rollin three deep, with my son sleeping in the car seat. Everybody looks so young out there. You guys need to check that place out.

Hundreds is about right. You know, when I used to go to car meets and the policed rolled through with their lights on a bunch of us wouldn't leave. What can they ticket you for? As long as you're up to date on your insurance, inspection, registration, and have no warrants you should have nothing to worry about.
I remember one time we were on Military Dr. at the Academy parking lot. A cop rolled through and flushed us out. Waiting at the exits where a whole bunch of cops. They were pulling people over like crazy, including myself. I got a ticket for "failing to make a complete stop before a sidewalk while exiting a private driveway." They pulled everybody over for that. So becareful and make a complete stop before leave, especially if they're right there watching as you leave.

i swapped my old turbo cams in but they have been mateded to that cps before.
i had no problems with the regular timing belt.

after the meet at mama margies a lot of people roll out to some sonic or whataburger, i forget, on the south side and theyll pull you over the second you leave for no reason. they just check if you have insurance, license, registration, any warrants, or any other bullshit they can come up with. i know a guy that got pulled over because his front license plate wasnt centered...
