Well I attended TX2K14 this weekend and it was definitely an experience. I had never seen so many exotic cars in one lot, it was pretty cool but the icing on the cake was a Supra winning the dyno event. I did see a few Mk3 Supras representing there aside from me (I actually drove up there with Nick and his white MK3) and i saw a couple put them up on the dyno. The dyno was supposedly reading about 100hp low so seeing the numbers that most of the cars were putting up was impressive to say the least. The icing on the cake was seeing a Supra win the dyno event, it happened to be Jessica Barton's new MK4 after her old one was stolen and cut up.

The night meets were another story, seemed like half the time we were hiding from the cops and the other half was watching people try to wreck their cars in which several succeeded. I saw a Lambo wreck, an S2000, MK4 Supra, and something that kinda looked like it might have been an Accord before he wrecked. They were all racing on the highways (either IH10 or on the toll roads) and pulling out of the Omni hotel as well. Cops were all over the place and arrested several people.

What did suck was that the drag event which was on Saturday and Sunday ended up getting cancelled because of the weather. All in all it was pretty cool and something to check out

I did the 12v mod today. Success. I'm getting 13.5v to the pump while the car is idling. Now my tune is out of whack and needs a retune. I'll be busy doing that when time permits.

Once again im back at it. Got the sup running, but I still need a map sensor. One of my injectors crapped out on me so I had to swap it out. Gonna try and run it to work tomorrow and see how it does. After I get the rest of the bugs out im gonna sell it so that I can buy a truck. I really need a truck.

Yeah I dont think you are ready to take the next step. Im gonna run it for a couple of months before I put it up for sell. I have a map sensor on its way, but yes it will still be able to run.

Lol!!! Don't think I'm ready huh?!? Just got too many things started and none finished. Ask da wifey. I'm actually thinking of doing a VW V6Turbo swap into my old Jetta. But i have to choose between the Supra and Jetta. Only way right now that the Jetta is winning is that i have more history with the car.

Same here to many projects for one person. Next up AGAIN!!! Is the crown molding. Are you going to the game tomorrow? If you are I'll take you for a spin.

I think you got it backwards....... you have the engine that can take just about anything you can throw at it. All you need it to get that gasket to set properly, and you'll be in business.

Yeah i know. I just get frustrated with the Grey Ghost. I got a new cylinder head from Evan (Whitehat) off a N/A car. Hopefully this head may be the ticket. Yes I'm gonna have it surfaced. May send it in tomorrow.

Yeah I'm off and i'll go see you pop up again. Must pull pretty good if you're giving out thrill rides.

Roger.

I was going to try and buy another shell due to me stripping the paint off mine and being too damn lazy to attempt a repaint. But lookin at the cost i should just man up and repaint mine.....i did some of the hard stuff already by stripping it.

Yup.....that's the one. Was gonna offer $700-900 for the shell only. But i figured i could spend that amount and put in some work and paint mine with some change left over.......hopefully.
