Yeah. Im gettin annoyed due to my haste to get the car running i overlooked certain things. Now that im trying to fix this knock sensor issue i see all the stuff i said i'll fix later. I feel i took 3 steps forward and 3 back with a little baby step forward. This harness as i look at it more has seen better days. I dont want to put her back in the garage but this small headaches need to be fixed before they become a major pain in my azztray. Pissed at da moment .......I'm out!!!!

Yeah i was on this site last night. Plugs that are bad.... Male/female on the CPS. While i was tracing one the knock sensor wires (the car was running) i was looking at the ECU and grabbed the two wires for the sensor and the plug came off the ecu......car shut off!!! The plug to the ECU clip broke so there's nothing to really holding it in. I plugged it back in and started the car....got a code 11.....temporary lose of power to ecu. I bet none of you have had that code. Knock sensor bank two plug has broken clip so it keeps sliding off the knock sensor. Frayed wires to AFM, coolant sensor, and CPS. Wiring harness needs to be rewrapped. CPS is leaking oil. Found a small leak on the oil pan. Small coolant leak on the hose behind the water pump (i knew that hose wasnt gonna last but used it anyway). Soooooo basically a semi rushed job because of my rush to hear it run. Lesson learned so I shall do it right and move forward.
Yeah I have an 88, as far as I know the only difference is the external HAC sensor and if im not mistaken the knock sensors have square connectors rather than round ones. I might have an extra knock sensor if thats what your looking for. I just need to dig around and find it. Let me knowsatx88supra;1820886 said:
I have my old block with the stock bore but the crank snout is bad. It will need to be bored and honed cuz it sat outside for a bit and it does have some rust. If you cool with that let me knowsupra.usa;1820991 said:

Yeah they definately had something stuck up where the sun don't shine. Either way it was fun pissing them off too. The next time i go im going to keep pissing them off for the hell of it... ha ha
They didn't like it when you passes the starting line after you burned out. They got on me, and Miguel for that. Then they got on Miguel for moving to far up when they called us up to race next. Well, excuse us if there was some kind of written rules we didn't know about.
