Okay, so recent research found that New Yorkers are actually nice people instead of the bossy, rude SOBs that everyone thinks they are.
This leads me to ponder about how rude and ill-mannered people from a race are. I work a heavy customer service oriented job and have come across almost every race and type of person on the face of the planet.
To start, with no racial discriminations, Mexicans are the worse. They don't speak a lick of english and expect everyone to understand them when they come up to you jibber-jabbering in Spanish. They have no manners, they bark at you like a dog, and they have no sense of common courtesy. Just last night, I almost got into a shouting match with this one Mexican customer who cut in line. After I politely told him that the line started at the other end, he went on to lie that he was in line at the other end. I then told him that he was mistaken, that I observed him with my own eyes that he was at the opposite end and was in fact cutting. He persisted to say that he was in line. Then he does the most stupid thing and says something along the lines of "Next time think before you speak." I'm like, WTF, you complete retard. Next time I will personally kick your ass back into the line. My next customer: an older Mexican female. I asked her if he was in fact in front of her and she said no and added "stupid Mexican."
Next most rude, are blacks or African-Americans, or whatever PC term they want to use. Its like they're still stuck "on you still owe us for slavery." I'm like no I don't, I'm Asian, I don't owe you jack. And the majority of them are all attitude. They throw things at me like thats going to get me to help them any faster. And they snatch things from me when I go to hand them their money as if somebody's going to come up from behind them and jack them right then and there. Their mental attitude seems to be "I'm going to do it them before they can do it to me."
Asians. OMFG. Don't get me wrong, but I'm Asian too. But Jesus Christ man. You can see that I'm Asian, and you're still doing that shit to me. They are almost exactly like Mexicans, the only difference is they're legal and they came over on a boat or plane. Their Engrish doesn't make it any better. I have to fight myself to not make fun of their bad Engrish. Its like they were expecting me/us/the company to hand them all their shit on a silver platter.
Middle Easterners. Not the Muslim/Islamic/Jihadists, but the Israeli/Jews/Palestinians/former Soviet Republic screwovers. They always seem to be mad at the whole entire world, like they lost every goddamn battle or war ever fought by man. They're always pissed off at something, and their faces seem to be frozen with this really pissed off expression like I was the one that stole their bread. The War is over! Get over it! Get on with it!
All these races that have been rude/ill-mannered to me are the old school types. They still have heavy accents and don't speak much English if any at all. Its like they didn't have mannerisms in their own country, came over for whatever reason, and expected the same thing here. Wake the fuck up people. Being a rude asshole is only going to get your ass handed to you in a paper bag.
Don't get me wrong though. There are some nice people from each of the races, but the rest of them are just plain rude, have no courtesy or common decency, or any shred of common sense whatsoever. The really bad apples are liars who will lie to your face even when faced with the facts. As if they are absolutely right regardless of evidence to the contrary.
My job would alot more fun IF I could use sarcasm alot more, but alas I must remain nice, courteous, and well-mannered when surrounded by cave-people.
