Thread two nuts onto the stud,then tighten the nuts against each other.Use the lower nut to back the stud out(that way if it tries to back off it's actually tightening itself against the other nut.)RiyadYar;1210650 said:what exactly is the jamnut method? also if he did hand tight them on the 7m i should be able to loosen them with a allen key right(with the head still on)?right

For the record, the instructions for my studs recommend a, 80ft/lb torque rating when used with their supplied lubricant…
