If you disconnect the accordian hose, you need to make sure that you have a few other things in place.
Something to replace the AFM. Probably something like a MAF-T to use manifold pressure to tell the ECU how much air is going through. Once you do that, that takes care of most of it.
Or... Go full standalone.
If yo just remove that hose, then the AFM is going to read zero. The ECU is going to think that's not valid (And it's right.) and throw a code at you. The car will sort of run... Sort of.
Basically, don't do it until you KNOW why you're doing it, and what you've done to replace that it connects.
