How much is involved to just replace a few syncros? My 2nd and 3rd are notchy, and I thought it would be nice to replace those when I change clutches and have the tranny out.
Rebuilding an R154... is it hard to do?

looks like you have to tear into it pretty far...if I was there I would just rebuild the whole damn thing...

you have to take apart the mainshaft and remove every gear so changing syncros only isn´t worth it. work is near the same, no matter how much of the parts you´ll replace
