rear tie rods

i went to get an alighnment and they said that my rear tie rods in the back are bad.. it seams to be a dealer part.. is there something else that i can use??? or someplace else i can order them from that is cheaper????:1zhelp:

rear wheel steering? haha

there's inner and outer tierods in the front.
you can get em cheaper on some online stores

i remember back when i gave my car to a place to do an alignment. they said they couldnt do it cus the tierods were fucked.
i took it to school and we got those suckers loose, haha.

Rear toe is in fact adjustable, just not with a rod that has adjustable length. Although that is not uncommon on cars without 4 wheel steering.

They might actually mean the front. Or they told you front and rear and you got your own wires crossed. Hey, that happens if so.

Those oblong bolts adjust toe. They are called eccentric bolts.

the guy told me that when he tried to adjust the back it just turned but didn't move?? so he said that i needed to change the four arms tie rods what ever it is that you adjust in the back... when i called toyota they had it listed as a tie rod i believe but they cost 200 a pop, and i am not down for that..
