If you're seriously gonna sell it, let me know. I'll keep it local, clean, and I'll even sell it back to you when you want to get back in the game.

This just sucks, This is pretty much the only car i would want, seriously my dream, keep it for ever car...I dunno, i just want it to run and drive normally, i dont want the fastest car or anything,
Ok i guess ill change some things, Rad cap, Thermostat, coolant hoses, and maybe water pump? Burp the car, and if problem still persist, then i dunno.

dam i feel like crying typing this:cry: ...This blows big time.

im lost.
i was there.... twice... i went through 2 supra's and blew 2 7m-gte's dues to previous owners... on MY money, in highschool... and the 2nd supra was 6,500$, you know what... the moter blew 2 weeks after i bought it... was not my fault either, what i guess i'm saying is i do wish i had another car, but i'm glad i stuck w/ the car i have.... it was a TON of work (i was 16-17)... i'm 18 now, but i'm glad i stuck w/ it... learned a LOT

I don't see how a proper HG job would take only 2 hours. If you're gonna pull the head off, there's alot of things you might as well take care of while the cars down. even if you ONLY do the HG, I still don't see where 2 hours would come from. Just pulling the head and slapping another one in there? doesn't sound like a good idea...

Buy a 300$ tercel, and park the supra man. Work on it in your spare time and fix that BHG. Then once you're done fixing that hot red car, flog the tercel for 300 bucks and never look back :)

OK, guess what??Hmmm, strangely the car runs pretty good right now Lol, but this is after i did alot of thinking and tried to fix the problem.
ok i replaced rad cap
ran car on my garage, has slight incline
i top radiator with 50/50 water and anti freeze
and i just watch it for 40 minutes straight and when i see it bubling and gushing out i just filled it and i let it warm up, the highest it went to was the 6th line part. And then i drove car around the block 6 times, and boosted to like 4k on the last 2, and theni wenton highway and romped on it to 100 i think and it didnt go over the 6th point on the temp guage, i got off highway checked for leaks, coolant, overflow, and hoses and nothing, seems to be fine. I like how MK3 supras work. :icon_bigg
And this is all no joke, i tried to go to bathory house to try tof fix this the day before and the car spiked temp on the highway and i had to stop then drive over and over, it took me 10 mins to get to where my car started actting up, but took me almost 2 hours to get home.

Supra are the shit

I did the same thing with my BHG. It will start eating coolant in a bit. I finally accepted it. That was the hard part. :( Now the car is running fine, has been for the last 6 months. I dont regret putting a lot of monies into her. (2500 ballpark) That gold digging bitch has her claws into me for a bit more too, she is about to hit 137k

Have you checked your oil lately? That too may hold an answer.

Do you have any smoke out of the exhaust??? I would make sure you do actually have a BHG before you get all depressed and say you're gonna sell it...that's what everyone does.

Also, I would check to see if there is pressure in the system after driving it (there should be)...just squeeze the upper radiator hose, it should be firm.
