I loved driving in the rain. as soon as I hit 1 psi of boost the rear would start sliding around, and as long as you're expecting it, it was very easy to control. On the other hand driving in the rain when you're trying to get somewhere can suck, haha.

. I have been buying Goodyear Rain tires for all my vehicles ever since. My belief is that even cheap tires are decent when its dry, but it's got to be a damned high quality tire to be good in the rain. I am currently running the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 245-50/16 on stock rims. These tires, on this car, with ST sway bars, are an excellent blend as far as my experience goes.

these are the best rain tires money can buy.

When I had my 91 I was running 225 kumho estas in the front and 235 kumho supra (i believe), and I thought they were just any old tires.. So one day it was pouring here in SD and I thought I would have some fun but the damn tires just gripped too well for me. I know that they are not the best but they do offer adequate grip for driving in the rain.
I only lost control once because of boost in first gear. Other then that, they are good tires.
