Um...gram....oops...i meant a quantity, reffereing to soemthing like the feather and brick analogy, i think i got a little confused typing.....i guess thank you for clearing that up, sry about the mistyped information ( i was thinking volume in a contained area )

although what you worte is somewhat incorrect also, within different gravtitational fileds a gramwill weigh much less/more than a gram within a different gravitational field ( its mass however will reamin the same of course..)

and weighing gass isnt that hard

There's nothing wrong with what Weez said.

1 gram = 1 gram...anywhere. Mass is mass, the weight (a force) will change in different gravitational fields, but anyways, Weez said measured in the same location the two masses will always be equal, which is true, and the two masses will be the same anywhere else because you're comparing a gram to a gram

Where have you been???

I didn't have a computer for awhile, and now school is kicking my ass so I don't have a lot of free time, heh. I'm trying to hang around more, but I usually do something school or military related, come home, eat, do homework and sleep for a couple of hours, rinse and repeat

do you mean to tell me you cant fart in space!!!!!:aigo:

If you stepped out of the space shuttle without a space suit you would most definitely fart real big and then float away in little pieces. The only difference between space and on earth is- in space nobody can hear you fart

humans can survive in a vacuum for about 10 seconds before they lose consciousness, and even more before they "explode". more than enough time to run out into space, rip one, then get abck inside the ship beforeu black out

Yeah i would assume you dotn have very much time as our circulatory systems are specific for a 9.8, it can very with slight issues but i cant imagine 0.00~* being very good for you

OK, my bad. I was just trying to paint a mental picture. The interesting question you bring up is why would you run outside the ship to cut the cheese when you could stay inside and share it with all your buddies?
