welp finally some updates, got my semi shaved/tucked bay in primer and the motor back in. also installed coilovers, they are on their lowest setting and it is on the gound, literally... obviously im not gonna leave it like this but just wanted to see how low it would go lol.

About time! Update has been prolonged haha.

Of the three colors mentioned, I would vote red since your car's already red (though black's my fav color). Beats the hassle of pulling the entire interior to paint match, unless that stuff doesn't bother you haha.

Build is really coming along since that destructive incident.

yea its been too long haha, finally had a week off from work so got a lot accomplished. as far as paint goes im gonna go with some sort of red, im thinking either torch red or flame red pearl metalic. gonna be rocking the primer look for a while though lol. ive still got some wiring to figure out before i can start it and have brake lines and odds and in's before its driveable.

man im glad no was hurt back when that flywheel let loose.. cant believe some ppl would put others in danger like that...

on a good note the 7ms coming along nicly, looks like quite a pretty penny was droped hehe...

and just so i know what is the factory recommended torque specs for the 7m/1jz/2jz flywheel?


edit: looks like the specs are 36ft/lbs, with a 90 degree turn.

yup, deff had someone lookin out for me that day! ive also invested in a explosion proof trans blanket and a drive shaft safety loop. safety first! lol

well after the cage is finished, and ive ordered about 80% of the parts i needed to get my car back street worthy. I go into work last night to be told that as of right now 300 ppl are going to be laid off after the first of the year, starting at the bottom of the seniority list so thats gonna get me :( fml. back on the back burner she goes again.

its flame red pearl metallic. paint has over 15 grams of metallic in the gallon. depending on which way the light hits it, the paint can be really bright or almost a burgandy. i was amazed at how well the paint did, just getting it hot enough was the trick. its not a show quality paint job but im happy with it.
