I'm pretty sure I spelled it correctly the first time, but IJ used his evil genius mastermind moderator powers to make it look like I made a mistake. I believe that is a lot more likely than me axually mispelling something............

Looks like you have a good platform, besides the doors looking like butt cause of the special edition house screws (which i have myself on my 89) your car is clean. I love the black wheels and new tires + wash. Makes it look that much better.

I myself have a pre89 car. I've been debating the 89 front bumper but i think i will keep it pre89. I know for a fact i'm going 89+ for tails n wing cause the stock one i messed up. Good luck with it and i can't wait to see some progress!

if it wasnt for this man I to would still have house screws in my moldings.

debating about what what what?!?!? if you dare go with a 89+ bumper I'll go outside and roll your car into the street.

The car looks good.I say keep it slow and just put all rare jdm body parts on it.

Installed my 6.5" Speaker pods and speakers today, as well as new inner door panels since my old ones were ripped up. Still need to get new speaker covers ( the ones that say live sound or whatever ), door lock buttons, and the dang metal hinge that connects the door to the car. So the drivers side is going to have to come out soon anyway. I have a door handle replacement ready to go as well.

More to come tomorrow or whenever its nice out. I also got my plates registered finally after they've been expired for 4 years lol.

Speakers sound fantastic btw, at least compared to no front speakers or blown front speakers :).

Can someone tell me what the part number is on these?

The little black thing that covers the screws ( I break these all the damn time sigh ), as well as the trim that is cracked that is between the side mirror and the window ( Stupid thing is leaking here )

Is it this? 93315? or something else?

Also if anyone knows what the black trim pieces around the hatch and front window are called it will be easier for me to look through the part number thread.

THX ^^
EDIT Found them :)
Can you just drive to a Toyota dealer and have them identify parts for you?

i always find it a little refreshing to see just a normal person, with problems just like everybody else, but still not trying to play the "omg look at me im so poor card."

but it looks like you have a nice car and have some nice plans for it, i have a full set of trim that you could have, just have to pay shipping... and probably paint it (it was blue i think)

where did u get those pods? they look pretty nice? do they have sealed backs? too bad you didnt need that black triangle and door hinges about a month ago. I had both and threw them out to make room for our furniture in the garage

a little bit at a time and each little fix makes your car that much better. I've got a few minor problems I plan on fixing this fall also.

3.0 Badge came in today, I'll take some pictures tomorrow if the weather is nice. I had a brake line blow out on me ( My fault though, learned the hard way ) so I'm also doing that.

Since I always think about random crap rolling around in bed for hours, I've been currently debating on weather or not I want to go manual rack and get rid of AC in this car. It's such a 50/50 debate for me because I love PS and AC, but I also love the cleaned up engine bay and weight savings. I kinda figure though if I'm rolling around in a all black car w/ tinted windows ( Which I will be sometime down the road here ), I'd probably want the AC blasting. Oh shucks, but I got plenty of time to think this out.
