PICTURES FINALLY!

Got these in the mail today from Zumtizzle:

And various parts for my oil cooling system:

Closer up of the cooler:
p1612454_3.jpg

I just need to pick up the Accusump parts, the SPAL 7.5" pusher fan (flows 440cfm), and the various Earl's Ano-Tuff hose end fittings to complete my oil system.

This is the space I've been working in...

More updates will be along the way as I get more in

Dang that's a beefy cooler! Any pictures of how you mounted it?

not yet but I'll take pics next time I rig it up. It's sorta slant mounted with the top fitting going over the frame (directly over the bolt that holds the crash support beam to the frame) and the bottom fitting sitting in the little half-moon of the stock tow-hook.

I'll need to get pics. But yes, very beefy. Dimensions are 8" x 11" x 1.5" with 1/2"NPT fittings

So I got the Accusump mounted and the EPC partially wired in. I just need to run a wire from the pressure switch to the toggle switch in cabin, mount the toggle switch, then run a wire from that switch to a switched 12v source on the fuse block (or tap into another wire that has power when the ignition is switched to "ON")

I also have the Mocal thermostat mounted.

Tomorrow I need to go buy a couple of fittings and figure out where the hell I'm going to mount that inline oil filter...

Picture update!

I mounted the toggle switch for the Accusump's EPC in the space where the headlight squirter button would go. I did a squirter delete, so I did a button delete too :)

I got oil cooler and e-fan mounted. The e-fan is just about the perfect size for the cooler, and they still fit snug up under the headlight. Everything is held in place by zipties, but it's going to stay put...

Pusher.

well err puller. ;)

too late haha. I got a pusher, primarily because there is going to be very little airflow coming from around the fog light. I decided that pushing cool air through the cooler would be better than pulling the heat away from it haha

Haha. It's actually very spacious. We can fit 2 cars comfortably, but if we crammed em in there with no benches or shelves we could fit probably 3 and a bike

But I have half of the garage and the work benches covered in parts :)

Shit these fittings are expensive... And the ones I need are like 180*, 90*, 90* -AN hose to NPT male (because of clearance issues) ...

180* = ~28
90* = ~25
90* hose to npt = ~32

per fitting :(

Got a little bit of wiring work done yesterday. Ran wiring from the control side of the pressure switch to the bulkhead rubber piece in the wheel well. I just need to crimp or solder some wire onto that to give it enough extension to get to my switch in the cabin, which I have mounted by the hazard switch.

I also managed to get the vacuum tubing hooked up for my boost gauge, and have the wires run from the gauge on the A-pillar to the wheel well. I'm not really sure where I am going to mount the pressure sensor.
I need to figure out how I'm going to run my wires for the gauge as well. They are super small gauge, if I had to guess I'd say they are either 20 or 22 gauge wires.

One is constant 12v power, one ground, one key on lights off, one key on lights on.

I also have to run my power wire for my e-fan to the switch in the cabin, that will be going in the coin holder slot next to my cruise control switch. I'm making a plate to mount the switch to that will replace the coin holder.

I may tap into that 12v source to use with the gauge as well.

Okay, haven't updated this thing in about a week.

As per the norm, no pictures right now. I don't honestly think of taking them. I just want to get the car done...
I'll take some later on though. All text and no color makes SM a less appealing place ;)

I have power, control, and ground ran for my e-fan and Accusump EPC valve. I have ground run for the boost gauge. Still working on 12v constant, 12v switched power on, and 12v switched running lights on.

I have the hose ran from the back of the manifold to the pressure sensor that I have inside the car by the D/S kick panel fuse box.

Also, I have disassembled, stripped, primed, and painted 3 of the 4 Bilstein shocks. Going with the blue again. I found one that is damn near a direct match :D

I'll be sending the springs off for powder-coating probably tomorrow or Wednesday.

Another interesting bit...

A Chicago-area local shop (Genesis Racing Development) had an open-house / meet yesterday. They had the Xbox 360 with NFS: Shift set up, on Brands Hatch, with a Lamborghini Gallardo.
Whoever got the fastest time, won a case of NOS, courtesy of... NOS.

So guess who won? YOURS TRULY! 1:38:380 was my lap time, and I picked up a case (24 pack) of the original flavored bottles. The small ones, anyways. :D
