My welder backed out of being able to help me, so I decided to take a stab at it. I'm just glad I have a grinder.

I can honestly say I've never seen you on here before PTP. What I'm welding doesn't have to be that pretty. Although I will be grinding down all the welds to make them nice and flat and then spray paint them. My real problem is a lack of free time. I work 20-30 hours a week and go to college full time (14 credit hours). My work schedule changes every week.

I think I'll tackle this project myself, although the next welding project I will get help.

Yeah, not too happy about the corner lense. I'll track down a new set shortly.

On the bright side, my team came over today and we worked on relocating my battery. The positive cable is ready, and all I have to do is mount the negative cable to the frame and mount the battery box. Also, my teammate Mike's friend took my bumper support and is going to weld it for me tonight. With any luck I'll have it back tomorrow fully welded up and painted. Here's a pic of where the battery used to be.

Cut the bolt connecting the two positive cables in the engine bay and retaped it with some red electrical tape I found laying around. Maybe I can figure out a way of routing the cable behind the dash and up through the drivers side fender well.

It's only taken me 6 weeks to get to this point (starting when I took the bumper off). Got a lot of work done tonight. Put a fresh coat of gloss paint on the bumper support, and a fresh coat of flat paint on the lower grill. Got the new corner lenses in, so now I have a spare clear drivers side lense. Also, got the upper nose installed, along with the bumper. Still have to install the fog lights, wheel wells, front under carriage panels that go under the fog lights, and retorque the lug nuts. Now, on with the pics.

Battery relocation is done. And I put the passenger side area back together (glove compartment, front door sill trim). Gave the beast a quick bath and took some pics. Tuesday the rear fenders are getting rolled at Performance Race Engineering (my new sponsor). Probably going to get a quick Maaco paint job since they have a $399 special running right now. Most likely black. Anyways, here's the pics.

Fender rolling is done. PRE did a good job. I think I will have them do the front fenders too (maybe). When I get the time I will drop the Supra down to a more respectable height. Also, I put the PRE decals on my rear 1/4 windows since they are sponsored. I'll put up pics after I lower it.

Hey you should run your battery cable through the driver fender and then go through the rubber grommet in the fire wall. It comes in by the fuse box and then run it down the driver side of the interior and to the back of the car.

This is how I did mine It's SUPER CLEAN!:biglaugh:
