Probe damage, my fault, experts see (Pics)

i am starting to figure that melting number 1 piston is timming issue, i dont think it`s beacuse the injectors, they are 6 months old, they are msd and i switched in the past and placed them in different order, probably the other 4 people who melted number 1 cylinder with the map ecu is because we dont have how to control timming.
Any suggestion how can i control timming and keep using the map ecu?

If it were timing why isn't #6 melted as well?

Timing damage looks different to this.

Have the injectors tested I lost one that was weeks old not even months.

I agree with IJ about the cause of damage

but still.. I wouldn't run a T70 26psi on 100 octane with a full standalone.. much less a stock ECU + piggyback setup. I'd re-think fuel/iginition control when you get it back together.

My car made 677whp on 27psi through a T70, at the level you're at.. you needed a standalone a while ago. You pretty much learned the hard way .

after i melted my piston, i sent the injectors to RC to get inspected and flow tested. the told me #3 was way off. when i got them back and started it up, only 1.5 months later, the same one was off again... i guess their fault. but that just shows their incompetence.

a sess: At least have that one injector tested minimum. If you're going to use all of those injectors again, then you need to have them all tested. I'm sure there's some place in your hometown that tests and flows injectors.

MAP ECU 1 cannot manipulate timing. You just set your base timing to stock specs and cross your fingers... i guess.

What brand injectors are you running?

Can you guys tell me how you know when your injectors are not flowing 100% or is becoming partially blocked while they are still on your car?

No way to tell - with a really high performance engine, I recommend every 20-30k miles having the injectors flowtested / cleaned.

the real question is: What size injectors are you running? The bigger the injector, the more advanced your timing is.
