Preferred clutch brand?

Just a quick poll of to see what brand/model of clutch everyone prefers. I have a spec stage 3 now. it works great for now, but as i put more mods on the car, it gets closer and closer to its limit. i reached its limit a few weeks ago. i ran some VP Red 110 octane leaded fuel and ran 25psi. 1st and 2nd, were useless, 3rd spun quite a bit but not all that bad, but 4th i was pulling and the clutch started slipping. its a 520ft lb. clutch. anyhow, what clutch does everyone prefer? just need some input before i make a decision. i dont want to spend an un-godly amount of money, but i dont want junk either. thanks!

South Bend clutches apparently are pretty good. Contact them with your concerns and needs and I'm positive they will be able to help you.
From what I've seen, their customer service is excellent. One of the guys posted on a FS thread here not too long ago. Someone was selling a used South Bend clutch and one of their guys posted up to all potential buyers that they would refurb it for free, to get their name out there to the supra community.

HPF bronze clutch is what i have....not installed, but from what ive heard very streetable and does not slip on the track.
RPS or ACT PP your choice, and a HPF bronze clutch, i recommand using a stock flywheel. (resurface it). both application are good at 600+ hp
750$ and if u want to rebuild it it costs 125 for new pucks.
if your shooting high HP i think this is a pretty good combo.
PM justin727 or xman for more info

clutchmasters the clutch/brake shop?
To my knowledge they don't actually make clutches....
Correct me if I'm wrong.
If you are talking about the shop,
I don't suggest going there, at least not the one by my house.
They did this and didn't do anything about it:

I still need to file a claim against the company to get my money to fix it.

I like the RPS 3200lb max 6 puck good for 720 ft lbs torque, spec. stage 4, or just get it over with and get a tilton.

Yes clutch masters makes clutches ...that is what they do .. They built a very fine custom unit for me ...I think maybe you got the wrong clutch masters in mind . Try clutchmasters.com/shop/.. I my opinion clutch masters are one of the best in the business

Hm.
Wasnt aware, when I got mine put in, I had had a XTD ready to put in but it got stolen the night before they were supposed to put it in, so they put an excedy in, which seemed to be the only one they carried.
I have a feeling it was just a one time thing with that particular shop, I'm just disappointed the company couldn't/didn't do anything to compensate me for the damage they did to my car and denied doing.

I use clutchmasters and love it to death. I'm also not close to the 520lb's yet anyway but mine will hold 600 stage 4 with kevlar sprung disk and i believe 4k pressure plate

So what clutch would someone have to buy that can hold 500+ lbs of torque AND be 100% smooth on the street? Does anything not shudder at all? 100% smooth slipping???? My Act 6 puck sucks on the street.

I run an RPS Maxx PP and HPF bronze disc and it has been a great clutch for what I have asked it to do. Very streetable in my opinion and has held 30 plus launches of 5500 rpm or better on drag radials and over 575 rwtq. I had a Spec stage III and it wouldn't hold 16 psi on my last turbo setup which was 420 rwtq. I put 900 break in miles on it as the tech from Spec requested and it still wouldn't hold. I put 25 break in miles on my RPS/HPF set up and it has been perfect.
