I'd vote for a small whale tail. A pre 89 will just look weird, and as you've got a hatch spoiler and those kinda wheel and exhaust, a whale tail will look best on that car IMO.

Def needs painted in my opinion...if the car was red or white then it may work but not with burgandy:-(

Like i side before, the only thing you can add to make a mk3 to look better are rims. adding or removing parts will make it look worse. the best look is a standard look

Great combo, i don't think it looks bad at all. If anything it is upgrading. I have the rear hatch shade and wingless right now, but at highspeed the rear feels kind of lose, so i might be looking into getting a whale tail. But i was afraid it might not go well since i don't have anything else beside the stock lip.

89+ If it is just the wing your adding. If you plan on getting side and rear skirts I would go with the whale tale. Not sure if I would like the whale without the skirts?
