so the power locks on my 88 supra didn't work when i got it. ive had the car for about a week and am just trying to get all the little things worked out. the locks work somewhat intermittently however which is making it hard for me to diagnose. i pulled the switches out and checked continuity and i learned i have one dead switch on my drivers side. but the passenger checked out ok. however when i push lock it will try to lock but only make it about half way and then click back to the unlocked position. and it only tries 1 out of 5 times or so i push the switch.
also sometimes when i manually lock the car from the inside the power locks will unlock it a second later. i have a fsm for a 90 supra and im not sure how similar they are but it tells me to check the door lock control relay. is this clipped into the tccs or where would i find the connector so i can run the fsm diagnostic? any help would be greatly appreciated

Redacted per Title 18 USC Section 798
There are no diags for the lock module and no connection to the TCCS.

Sounds like your ignition key line is whacked. There's an door module input that gets grounded when the key is in the ignition. If the lock module thinks the key is there it'll do what you're describing. Does the seat belt warning still work correctly? It uses the same switch/wiring.

Or the module itself is bad....
