My daily:

Mildly modded, well over 250,000 miles on it. Stock headgasket. Upgraded CT-27 (57 trim), Greddy RS BOV, downpipe, test pipe, HKS Super Dragger, HKS EVC III (oldschool), S-AFC, Injectors, fuel pump, SOGI shortshifter, TEMS firm mod, MKIV TT wheels, 275/40/17 rear, 245/45/17 front.

Puts out about 360 at 14 psi on pump gas.

I don't have many pics of it. It's not the glamor girl of the bunch.

Here's what I've got:

that shroud saved your ass, huh..?

Nah, it wasn't running at the time. But it busted the damned thing and I absolutely hate MKIII's without shrouds, or even worse shrouds held together by FIPG...

hey SC, what kinda deck do you have? looks kinda cool.

It's this ancient old school Clarion deck (it came with the car), it's AM/FM with CD and a tape deck! LOL. It's got a multicolor LCD display that has VU meters. It must have set the original owner back a good bit. Multicolor LCD was the shiznit back then.

It's about as old as the car and goes along with my EVC III so I never bothered to swap it.

How in the hell did you manage to pull that off?

  1. Properly torqued gasket.
  2. Tuning

It's really not that hard, people just take shortcuts with these cars and they pay dearly for them.

First time that I open the motor up, it will get a MHG. They are well worth the investment, I just haven't been in the mood to open this one up.

I hit 236,000 miles before my engine succumbed to rod knock and the head gasket never gave me problems...

:icon_wink

Ever notice how us oldschool guys never seem to have the level of problems that many others do? Some of you kids might learn a thing or two by listening to us old fuckers... ;)

However, I'm failing to do my job here:

The longest post in my posting history. I'm sorry, but the FC deserves the space. ;)

I've told you this before, and I'll say it again. I am jealous that you own both of the cars that I love.

thats a damn nice bike but must suck in the rain lol what is that a 1000?

That's a 750. The 1Ks have a titanium exhaust that you DO NOT want to touch right after your turn the bike off.

My pile below.

Stealthy windshield banner.

Pay no attention to the speedo needle; it works, just not under 20MPH.

I had to throw in a pic of the front bumper.

The damage it came with.

And, yes, after taking the pics I gave the car a good bath.

83 Celica GT-S Coupe. IRS, 5spd, bulletproof 22RE motor. Fun DD, aside from the shitty exhaust (APC fartcan and multiple leaks) that I can't be bothered to fix.
