Don't blame the car for the shitty work that was done to it :3d_frown:
I'd be all over that shop that did the work. MKIII owners....:3d_frown:

well if the car was done right in the first place (from toyota) there would of never been BHG problems to every mk3 there is

i mean my car was working fine already for half a year and then out of no where it happens again and i used all the good shit thats supposed stop it from blowing the head gasket.

from my reciepts on the car its been through 2 motors, 3 head gaskets, 2 water pumps, 3 radiators, 4-5 thermostats, 4-5 rad caps, 3 fan clutches, 2 turbos. this car is like cursed or something. and i do regular maintenance to it.

Ummm...mine blew a HG at 130,000. I re-built the motor and it's got over 10K on it running twice the boost. Whoever it is working on your car really doesn't have a clue about the correct way to make this engine run flawlessly...you need a new mechanic...badly.

Is that the car's fault...I don't think so. Read my sig... SC's quote is dead on ;)

Im running 14psi on a stock HG ..... Sounds like your machinist gave u a 6 for a 9. Did you ever ask them about which tq values they used? Toyota or ARP? What about the RA values? If they did not use the right ones i will get them to redo the HG job. Your car is beast dont get rid of it yet.

Your head gasket blew again, because it WASN'T REPAIRED PROPERLY THE FIRST TIME.

WTF did you expect to happen??? It could have blown two days after it was replaced, it could have blown two years later...IT ALL DEPENDS.

With that said, I replaced my head gasket a year ago (when I first got this car), and I have replaced a TON of other parts, (your list is very similar to mine)...I am running 12psi of boost, and I haven't had a major problem yet (with the engine that is...subframe is a different story. ;))

If I were you, I would just spend $2-300, and replace the head gasket with a composite one and ARP studs...should be fine.

they used all factory specs. so after i get the car back from the body shop im gonna throw it back to them and tell them to do it right and then sell the car.
